Specialist in general surgery
Dr Vera Maurer is a board-certified general surgeon with clinical experience in acute-care hospitals and specialised surgical centres, across general, visceral, trauma, vascular and bariatric surgery. She currently also practises at a joint and orthopaedic centre in Saarland, Germany.
Her clinical focus is conservative orthopaedics and the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders: chirotherapy, conservative pain management including acupuncture and botulinum toxin therapy, and ultrasound diagnostics. Training in nutritional medicine and basic psychosomatic care lets her take both physical and psychological aspects into account. She also holds proctology consultations.
