Dr. Vera Maurer, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive clinical experience in acute care hospitals and specialized surgical centers. She has worked across the full spectrum of general, visceral, trauma, vascular and bariatric surgery and is currently practicing at a joint and orthopedic center in Saarland, Germany. Her qualifications include chirotherapy, proctology, nutritional medicine and the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin for pain management, reflecting a broad and patient-centered clinical approach.
Dr Maurer’s current clinical focus lies in trauma surgery and orthopedics, particularly in conservative orthopedics and the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. She works with chirotherapy, holistic treatment approaches, and conservative pain management, including acupuncture and botulinum toxin (Botox) therapy.
Dr Maurer’s diagnostic spectrum includes modern ultrasound (sonography), complemented by expertise in nutritional medicine and basic psychosomatic care, allowing me to consider both physical and psychological aspects of disease.
