He can be consulted in cases of chest pain, palpitations or tachycardia, shortness of breath on exertion or at rest, high blood pressure, pericarditis, heart failure, follow-up after a heart attack or stent placement, ECG abnormalities, preventive cardiovascular assessment, or pre-participation screening before sports activity or before starting medications that may affect cardiac electrical activity or the QT interval (such as ADHD medications, antidepressants, antipsychotics, or other drugs).
